 Mission
The mission of the Tomball Municipal Court
is to treat any citizen who appears in the
Municipal Court in a courteous and efficient
manner and assure that they receive a fair,
impartial and timely disposition of their
cases.
The Tomball Municipal
Court processes court cases where a
defendant is accused of a Class C
misdemeanor, and city code violations within
the territorial city limits of Tomball.
Violations heard in the court are generally
punishable by fines up to $500, but fines to
$2000 may be assessed for violations
relating to city ordinance violation, fire
safety, zoning, public health and
sanitation. Class C misdemeanors (crimes
punishable by a max fine of $500) includes
public intoxication, theft less than $50,
disorderly conduct, minor in possession of
alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia
and minor in possession of a tobacco
products.

A: The defendant may request
defensive driving either in person or by
mail. We CANNOT accept telephone
requests. If applying by mail, please
enclose a self addressed and stamped
envelop, a notarized Letter of Request,
a copy of the defendant's current
insurance and driver's license, and a
check or money order in the amount of
$107.00 ($132.00 if violation occurred
in a school zone).
